Cancellation & Refund Policy

Clear, concrete terms for cancelling a project or a scheduled visit, and for requesting a refund. Nothing is billed on this website, and nothing is charged that was not disclosed in writing first.

Last updated:

The short version. Nothing is charged until you have a written estimate or service agreement in hand. You can cancel a scheduled visit or an in-progress engagement at any time; any deposit already paid is refunded less documented costs already incurred on your behalf.

Cancelling a project engagement

Architectural-landscaping projects (residential and commercial) are billed against the amount stated in your signed proposal, typically in stages tied to project milestones (concept agreed, materials ordered, installation phases). You may cancel at any time before a stage is performed; you are billed only for stages actually completed or substantially underway at the time of cancellation.

Cancelling a recurring property-care visit

Where property care or grounds maintenance is scheduled on a recurring cadence, you are billed per completed visit, never in advance. You may cancel by email or by phone — you do not have to speak to a representative, sit through a retention call, or use any special method to cancel.

A cancellation we receive at least 48 hours before a scheduled visit takes effect immediately, and no further visits are performed or billed. If you cancel inside the 48-hour window before a scheduled visit, that next visit is completed as planned and billing stops after it — you are never charged for a visit beyond the one already on the schedule.

Rescheduling a visit

Need to move a visit? Give us at least 48 hours' notice and there is no charge to reschedule. Visits delayed by weather are rescheduled to the next workable day at no charge, and — like every visit — are billed only once the work is completed.

Refunds

Because you are billed per completed visit rather than in advance, there is normally nothing to refund when you cancel. Where a payment has been taken for a visit that was not performed, that amount is refunded to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of your request.

Deposits on project work

Some project work — storm cleanup, pressure washing, striping, and concrete or asphalt repair — may require a deposit. When a deposit applies, the amount is stated in your written estimate before you agree to it; we never take a deposit that was not disclosed in writing.

  • If you cancel before work begins, any deposit is refunded less documented costs already incurred on your behalf — for example materials ordered, permits pulled, or subcontractor commitments made.
  • If New World Global Designs cancels, your deposit is refunded in full.

Satisfaction remedy

If something is not right, tell us within 7 days of the visit. Work that falls short of the agreed written scope is re-performed at no charge. If it cannot be corrected, that visit is credited or refunded. This remedy covers the work we agreed to do — it does not extend to conditions outside the written scope of your service agreement.

Price changes

Any change to your rate is communicated in writing at least 30 days in advance. You are free to cancel before the new rate takes effect, on the same no-fee, no-minimum-term basis described above.

Disputes and chargebacks

If a charge looks wrong, please contact us first. Most disputes turn out to be a misunderstanding about what was included in the agreed scope, and we can resolve those directly and far faster than a card dispute. In response to any dispute, we will supply the written scope of work, the signed service agreement, and the completion photographs for the visit in question.
