Accessibility Statement
We want every visitor — including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology — to be able to use this site and reach us.

Our commitment
New World Global Designs Inc. is committed to making this website usable for as many people as possible. Our target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA (opens in a new tab). These guidelines are the recognised standard for making web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.
Measures we take
The following are true of how this site is built and maintained today:
- Semantic structure and landmarks. Pages are built with real HTML landmarks — header, main, and footer — and a single, ordered heading outline, so assistive technology can announce and skip between regions. Every page begins with a "Skip to main content" link that becomes visible on keyboard focus.
- Visible keyboard focus. Every link, button, and form control shows a clear focus indicator when reached with the keyboard. The indicator meets the 3:1 non-text contrast minimum: a navy outline on light surfaces and a gold outline on navy surfaces.
- Colour contrast. Body and heading text meets or exceeds the AA contrast ratio. Our brand gold is used as text only on navy, where it measures 6.8:1; on light surfaces a darkened gold is used for gold-toned text so it stays legible.
- Reduced motion. We honour the operating-system "reduce motion" preference, and the site has no auto-playing video, sound, or carousels.
- Works without JavaScript. All content is readable and all functionality is operable with JavaScript disabled. Scripts are used only to enhance, never as the sole way to reach content.
- Accessible forms. Form fields have real, associated labels, required fields are marked in text (not by colour alone), and any error is described in words so it does not rely on colour to be understood.
- Text alternatives. Images that carry meaning have descriptive alternative text; images that are purely decorative are hidden from assistive technology so they do not add noise.
- Colour is never the only signal. Links in body copy are underlined, and status or emphasis is always paired with text, so information does not depend on colour perception.
No accessibility overlay or widget
We deliberately do not use an accessibility overlay, plugin, or "accessibility widget." Overlays sit on top of a page and cannot repair the underlying markup; they frequently interfere with the assistive technology a visitor already uses, and they do not deliver genuine conformance. We prefer to build accessibility into the site itself.
Known limitations
We are not claiming this site is perfect. In the interest of honesty:
- The site has not yet been audited by an independent third party.
- It has not been tested end-to-end across every combination of screen reader, browser, and operating system, so an individual combination may reveal an issue we have not yet found.
- As we add pages and content over time, a new barrier can be introduced before we catch it.
If you encounter a barrier that is not listed here, we want to know. Any issue reported to us will be triaged and addressed.
