The Emerald line exists for clients who want to minimize their carbon footprint without changing what gets done on the property. It’s written into NWGD’s founding plan, and it’s deliberately simple.

What changes

On an Emerald visit, the service truck and power tools are all-electric — no gas — and the bags used for clippings and debris are biodegradable and compostable. Electric equipment also runs quieter than gas, which communities and offices notice more than they expect to.

What doesn’t change

The work. Each Emerald plan mirrors a standard tier — Emerald mirrors Silver, Emerald Premium mirrors Gold, and Emerald Premium + mirrors Platinum. Same scope, same crews, same fixed order of operations, same standards. An Emerald plan is an alternative to the tier it mirrors, not an add-on stacked on top of it.

What it costs

Each Emerald plan carries a modest premium over the standard tier it mirrors — the cost of running the visits on electric equipment. Every plan is quoted per property, so your exact figure arrives with the estimate. Platinum+ has no Emerald alternate yet; if that changes, it will be published the same way the rest of the plans are.

Who chooses Emerald

Homeowners who don’t want gas equipment on the property, HOAs and offices that care about noise and emissions where people live and work, and anyone who wants the greener option to be a checkbox instead of a compromise.
